Description

Hello! My name is Ruby. I would describe myself as outgoing, enthusiastic, organised, proactive and creative. I enjoy big walks, wild swimming, photography, travelling, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. I LOVE learning languages and I am currently learning Spanish.

Most recently I studied art and photography, I have a creative eye and a thoughtful approach to life. I love interacting with people and thrive in social settings. My experience traveling in Asia for three months has helped me to develop my ability to adapt to new situations, embrace different cultures, and connect with people from all walks of life.

I grew up in the countryside, so I spent my childhood exploring, climbing trees, cooking, gardening, making fires and foraging to name a few.

I'm excited about the possibility of working in Spain, taking on new challenges, and continuing to expand my horizons.
I am new to Workaway but have volunteered as a teenager with my parents in South America.

My latest passion is Sudoku, I love a good challenge!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have three years of experience in the hospitality industry and currently work as a supervisor in a gastro pub in the Cotswolds. This involves managing a team of 5 or 6 people each shift, overseeing the restaurant and stepping in if any problems need solving.
Due to the fast pace, this role has taught me to think on my feet and handle surprises smoothly. I'm energetic, take initiative, and enjoy planning and organising.

I am creative and have an eye for detail. I studied Art and Design and Photography at college. Both of which I still love.

I've done lots of babysitting over the years and enjoy being with children.

I enjoy interacting with people of all ages. I like problem solving and am always on the look out for ways to do things better.
