ENGLISH > Hello and welcome to everybody, my name is Rocco! I'm studying literature at the University of Bologna. I come from Calabria, a region of southern Italy, where I live with my family during the holidays; during the rest of the year I am in Bologna, a splendid city in northern Italy.

Tired of the usual life, I decided to enroll in Workaway, hoping to be able to visit new places, meet interesting people and experience that can make me a better person. I wish I could have the opportunity to interact with people of all kinds, sleep in the strangest places and try my hand at tests that can help me grow. I am willing to learn and take the best from the people who decide to host me and who will be able to treat me like a member of their family: in this case, you can rest assured dear hosts, I will never forget you! I hope to be able to travel around the world and "spread a bit of me" in the places I will visit, thanks to all those who decide to help and support me!!

ITALIANO > Ciao a tutti e benvenuti, mi chiamo Rocco! Ho 22 anni e sono uno studente di Lettere all'Università di Bologna. Vengo dalla Calabria, una regione dell'Italia meridionale, dove vivo con la mia famiglia durante le vacanze, mentre trascorro il restante periodo dell'anno a Bologna, splendida città del nord Italia.

Stufo della solita vita, ho deciso di iscrivermi a Workaway, nella speranza di riuscire a visitare posti nuovi, conoscere gente interessante e fare esperienze che possano rendermi una persona migliore. Vorrei poter avere l'opportunità di interagire con persone di ogni tipo, dormire nei posti più strani e cimentarmi in prove che mi possano aiutare a crescere. Sono disposto a imparare e a prendere il meglio dalle persone che decideranno di ospitarmi e che riusciranno a trattarmi come un membro della loro famiglia: in questo caso, potete starne certi cari host, non vi dimenticherò mai! Spero di poter viaggiare in giro per il mondo e "diffondere un po' di me" nei luoghi che visiterò, grazie a tutti coloro che decideranno di aiutarmi e supportarmi!!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

ENGLISH > The things I am able to help with are: teaching Italian, discussing books, writers and literature; talk about history and philosophy; watch and comment movies (especially great cult of italian cinema!). Furthermore, I would be an excellent companion for climbing, trekking and tennis (I have been playing from an early age and, of course, if anyone is interested, I would also be able to give some tips and help to learn). I am willing to learn many new skills and activities: I learn very fast (as long as you tell me how and you help me)! I will be able to help you with painting house, gardening, some jobs on a farm and I love walking and cuddling dogs!

ITALIANO > Le cose nelle quali sono in grado di aiutare sono: insegnare l'italiano, discutere di libri, scrittori e letteratura; discorrere di storia e filosofia; guardare e commentare film (soprattutto grandi classici del cinema!). Inoltre, sarei un ottimo compagno per arrampicata, escursioni e tennis (gioco fin da piccolo e, chiaramente, se qualcuno fosse interessato, sarei in grado anche di dare qualche dritta e di fornire qualche aiuto per imparare).
Sono ben disposto ad imparare molte nuove abilità e attività: imparo molto in fretta! Vi potrò essere utile per dipingere casa, attività di giardinaggio, alcuni lavori in fattoria e passeggiare e trascorrere del tempo con i vostri cani!
