My name is Nina, I'm 23 years old and since my graduation, I've been travelling whenever I had the chance. As I've finished my studies, I couldn't wait to get to know a new continent - South America!
My main motivation, to be a part of the Workaway-Community, lies in the pursuit of cultural exchange, the opportunity to learn from diverse perspectives and engaging with local communities. I am excited to embrace new challenges, broaden my horizons, and learn new skills.
What brings me immense joy is the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Each interaction holds the potential to create lifelong friendships, broaden my understanding of the world, and challenge my preconceived notions. I am eager to lend a helping hand, but I am equally enthusiastic about the connections we'll create along the way.
I approach every Workaway opportunity as a two-way street. While I'm eager to contribute my skills and energy to your projects, I'm equally excited to absorb the wisdom and knowledge you have to offer. I am ready to dive in with an open heart and an eager mind.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

First off, I believe that the most important skill to have, is showing interest and willpower for a task - and this, I definitely have! I'm excited to learn lots of new skills and broaden my horizon.
With that in mind, I'd like to provide an overview of my experience, skills and competencies:
After my graduation I've had the privilege of embarking on a journey to the opposite side of the world. During this period, I had the enriching experience of working at a hostel's reception for a span of four months. Additionally, I gained valuable insights into the world of gastronomy through my employment at a wonderful café/restaurant.
Back in Germany, I embarked on my academic journey in civil engineering, successfully completing my studies this past August. Alongside my education, I gained practical experience by working both at an engineering firm and on construction sites.
Beyond these professional pursuits, I dedicated my time to coaching kids in field hockey, a sport I passionately played for 16 years. Moreover, I engaged in babysitting for multiple families and took the initiative to organize numerous events for the student community at my university.

I am enthusiastic about contributing my existing skills and my ardor for acquiring new proficiencies to assist you in various capacities. I eagerly anticipate the opportunities that lie ahead and am committed to making a meaningful impact through continuous learning and dedicated engagement.

Just a little bit more about myself.
Ever since I came into this world, I've shared my life with the constant companionship of at least one feline friend. The joy and connection that these cats have brought into my life are truly irreplaceable. Beyond my love for cats, I've taken on the role of caring for dogs belonging to close family friends. The simple pleasures of playing and even going for runs with these canine companions have left lasting impressions on my heart. Additionally, the familial bond wouldn't be complete without mentioning Calinka, our treasured horse, who has added another layer of uniqueness to our lives.
Parallel to my interactions with animals, I've embarked on a journey of guiding and teaching. Over the span of seven years, I've dedicated myself to tutoring individuals across various age groups. This voyage began humbly by helping my sister navigate the complexities of mathematics.
Beyond that, I do enjoy cooking and would love to exchange some traditional meals.
