Description

My name is Mona Lisa, I am a 35-year-old Canadian-born Egyptian, splitting my time between Toronto, Canada, and San Francisco, USA. I have over nine years of professional experience as a clinical pharmacist, pharmacy manager, and healthcare consultant, alongside global volunteer work that reflects my passion for helping people and communities thrive. I’ve worked at an HIV clinic in Namibia, participated in a university exchange in Spain, and volunteered in Guatemala through a workaway program. My travels have also taken me backpacking across Central America, where I immersed myself in local cultures and connected with diverse communities.

I love staying active and engaging in sports like volleyball, soccer, running and pickleball, and I’m passionate about yoga, meditation, and fostering holistic health and wellness. As someone living a sober lifestyle, I am on a mission to inspire children and adults to embrace sobriety and build healthy, happy lives. I am highly adaptable, personable, and professional, with a warm and approachable demeanor that makes me a natural conversationalist and connector.

I am currently preparing for an incredible journey to Egypt, followed by a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro and Safari from February 7–18, 2025. I am seeking opportunities in Africa to support socially and environmentally impactful projects, whether through teaching, community outreach, healthcare initiatives, or wellness programs. I bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine desire to contribute to meaningful work. My goal is to leave every place I visit better than I found it, empowering others to live healthier and more fulfilling lives.
