  • Quelles sont vos compétences ?

For 20 years I worked as a carpenter contractor. This would include work as a cabinet maker, home builder, with masonry and concrete, electrical, plumbing, roofing, trim and finish work. Just about anything to do with carpentry including building and remodeling my own homes. In my 40's I returned to school and became a nurse. Retiring in 2010, I completed my degree in cultural anthropology, and now I write. As a young man I worked on farms that grew wheat and helped with dairy work and raising pigs. I am able to drive tractors, trucks, backhoes and all types of heavy equipment. At one point in time we lived in a small commune in the mountains that was off-grid. I maintained the electricity from the river by hydroelectric, and provided the community heat from the geothermal hot springs. My four children were raised alternatively and we built and lived in tree houses. If I don't know how to do it...I can usually figure it out...

I have heard wonderful stories from those using work away, and those folks have encouraged me to get on board. Recently while hiking on the TransC west of Mestia, there was a small village I passed through that needed a carpenter. After laboring for a few weeks in Iskari I found myself written up for a few stories in the Georgia Today. Here are the links...http://georgiatoday.ge/news/12473/Jerrymandering%3A-Etseri%2C-Svaneti
