Hi! I am from NYC and I just graduated university in New Orleans, Louisiana. I have experience working with horses and petsitting and would love the opportunity to use those skills, and more, abroad. I love animals (that's Ruby, my dog who is staying with my parents while I travel) and getting to meet new people while exploring new places. I'm currently on a working holiday visa in Ireland for a year, a place that absolutely charmed me when I visited two years ago! I am currently looking for a place starting early January.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have three years of experience working as an equestrian counselor at a summer camp. Some of my skills:
- caring for a herd of 50 horses
- working safely as a team with large numbers of horses
- basic vet care
- many years of casual western/English mixed style riding (western tack, English equitation)
- teaching beginners basics of horsemanship and riding
- grooming/tacking
- feeding/mucking

I have extensive childcare and dog sitting experience. I know a lot about dog training and behavior from adopting a dog alone at the age of 21. I have a bachelor's degree in public health, I am certified as an emergency medical technician in the US, and I'm a vegetarian.
