Greetings!
I am Mikolaj, a 24-year-old with a passion for life and a thirst for knowledge. After completing my studies in management and marketing, I have been on a quest to improve myself and gain new experiences. I have a zest for cooking, nature, sports, IT, yoga, meditation, and am always open to trying new things.

I am participating in the Workaway program to travel, assist others, and learn more about the world. During my travels, I have had the privilege of working on several animal farms where I honed my skills in animal care and learned the importance of responsibility. I also had the opportunity to work in the hospitality industry in Germany where I gained valuable experience and insights.

My biggest priority in life is to experience all that I can, to push myself to grow, and to gain knowledge, memories, and personal growth. I lead a healthy lifestyle, free from any addictions, and strive to be a role model for others.

I am ready for my next adventure and eager to bring my positive energy and eagerness to learn to the table.

My first priority during my stay is to master the Italian language, as I find it to be a beautiful form of expression. However, I am also open to learning other languages and would be honored to receive instruction from native speakers. As a token of appreciation, I am willing to impart my knowledge of Polish and English to the best of my ability.

Additionally, I am good in all things IT and would be happy to troubleshoot any computer or laptop issues you may be facing. I believe in taking ownership of my work and ensuring that the job is done right.

I feel so sorry to be so late on writing this feedback. Mik is a great person, very handy, he know to do so many task. He was very very helpful and I enjoy so much his presence.

Mikolaj was definitely one of our best workawayers!
He is a fantastic guy to have around. He is a hard worker and very intellegent and quick learner as well.
He has a nice personality and he is very interesting to talk with.

Mikolaj stayed with us for almost 2 weeks. It was a pleasure to have him around. Mikolaj is a gentle, responsible, openminded, activ and caring young man with a big heart.

The best workawayer doesn’t exi……. until you meet Anita and Peter and their beautiful place near to the coast with big forest next to the house. What I can say, from the first day I was feeling there like in the home. They welcome me with kindness and warm, sometimes I was really thinking that they’re my family. Both of them are funny, positive… read more and always happy, from the first sight you can see that they’re love each other.
Let’s talk about food… Everything what, they prepared was a masterpiece and I enjoyed every dinner which makes me full and COMFORT. The salads with fruit were really amazing as well, for the first time I ate such a good combination. Anita was taking care of me and asking me all the time if there is anything that I need and if there is something special that I want to eat. Last night we went together to the restaurant for wonderful octopus(it was my first time).
Work there wasn’t hard, I still remember when I was asked if the job that I’m doing is okey for me because they want me to do something that I like. On my first days, I was weeding with Peter the garden and pruning, removing some of the plants from the yard, after that we started big project with replacing the stones
From the yard and it was really funny, i enjoyed every minute doing this and having good time with Peter there, after one week we’re masters of stones, we even decided to create our own company called “Brainstone”(you can guess who was brain and who stone).
I was living in big apartment with double bedroom, kitchen, toilet and big terrace upstairs. It was always a lot of space for me and I was feeling really comfy. When I arrived everything was arranged for me, Anita made it spotless.
In your free time you can play with the dogs, walk in the forest and next to the cliffs. You can also visit beautiful cities around the place, everything is close so there is no problem. There is a gym in the house and swimming pool(I was there only once because is still cold - 14 degrees).
I’ll remember this place for a long time and always keep my good memories in my heart. I can totally recommend this place as a perfect workaway. Anita and Peter are wonderfull as a host, people, friends, I could talk with them about anything. I hope there will more person like them. I’d love to stay there a little bit longer but I had to comeback to my country. Thank you for everything and see you soon.😊

Mikolaj stayed with me for 3 weeks and did an incredible amount of chores: sawing firewood, turning the compost and filling the raised bed with it, burning garden waste, clearing the pond and waterproofing it, clearing the shed, walking the dogs, pruning, and weeding lots of weeds.
