I also love music, playing with and listening.Description
Hi
I m a peasant from center France.
I have 4 kids, from 11 to 16, and we all travel to Mexico, Colombia and Canada for more than 3 years some years ago, as workawayers.
I have a big garden with veggies and a lot of flowers, producing what we need for all the year, we make some sourdough bread we sell to some farmers market, we also make some cows cheese for ourselves and friends.
We do have animals, 5 cows, 4 pigs, some chickens, hens for the eggs, cats and dogs.
We also cultivate part of our cereals, for the bread, and a lot of potatoes.
I also planted some trees, fruits trees and berries. Now, I want to plant a forest garden. I also have two greenhouse, to prepare the seedlings and start vegetables early as the weather is cold where we live, and we do have late freeze, up to End of May and from September.
We work in the garden in animal traction, with a cow and a "kassine", a multi purpose tool behind the animal.
We build our place, the farm, the house, the local to make cheese and bread and it s an off the grid farm, we have solar panels and our own water. The house is a straw ball house.
We also kill and transform one or two pigs a year and sometime a calf.
I make part of our soap, and the balm for the family.
I would love to learn more about all that, and other skills, like working in an orchard, in a forest garden, with people, in association and learning more English, being with kids, teaching, playing... Everything could be great indeed.
For now, I m looking for a place where I can work one to four months, in November, December,January and February.
I would come with two of my girls, Atis is 13 and Sol is 11, so that they could learn more English two. They are rather indépendant, can help and are used to be by their own.
They can go to school, if there is one nearby.
I play some clarinet in a traditional band and I do love music, and sharing that with others.
Glad to share new experiences with you!
