Description

Our biggest motivator is curiosity. We're fascinated by finding out how things work and not afraid to get our hands dirty to do so. Although we don't have much experience with traveling, we're very energetic and willing to learn and experience new things, whatever they are. We'll always be up to an adventure, even if we are a little scared at the beginning.

We always wanted to travel, but never really wanted to have a solely touristic experience. Although that's very cool, we really crave a more in-depth view of what life is really like in the places we go. We also love to connect with people, and regard helping out not as a simply working, but as part of the travel experience itself, in a very beautiful trade where people help each other to achieve their goals.

You can expect to be hosting two hard-working and happy to help people, that are genuinely interested in your culture and happy to share ours too.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are very handy people and can do all sorts of quick fixes and installations around the house, build brick walls and do some very basic carpentry, as well as plaster and paint walls.
We love to tidy and organize a big mess.
We can do various gardening tasks, such as preparing soil, weeding, mowing, planting, etc.
We can also do household tasks like cleaning, cooking (although we're not especially awesome at cooking).

Manu's biggest passion is fixing whatever is broken - she can fix electronics (as long as there are some basic welding tools and a multimeter) and household appliances, and she can also operate a sewing machine or sew by hand.

Nico has experience with mechanics and can operate a mechanical lathe and do TIG welding.

These are the things that we have experience with, but we are quick learners and very willing to find out how to do whatever is needed.

Manu: I love playing instruments and singing, dancing, building miniature houses and scenarios and learning languages.

Nico: I like music and attending shows and crochet.

We also like board games and playing cards!
