Hi, I'm Amanda. I'm a healthcare worker from the states and excited to be taking a one year sabbatical to explore more of central and South America! I've done several Workaways in Southeast Asia in 2019, Mexico in 2021, and am excited to incorporate Workaway projects into this trip. I have also worked frequently in customer service jobs like restaurants, bars, hostels. Plant and DIY project enthusiast and don’t mind getting my hands dirty. I am a hard working individual who enjoys getting to know new people from all different backgrounds. I have taken a few weeks of Spanish courses and know enough to get around, but would love to improve and be more conversational :)

My personal interests include hiking, surfing, yoga, diving, eating delicious food, and trying anything new!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have several years working as a Physician Assistant in a hospital in the States, so have a proficient medical knowledge.
I have also worked as a bartender and server and volunteered in hostels so I have some experience in hospitality/ costumer service and I love being welcoming and meeting new people.
Finally, I grew up working on my family's farm with horses. I am used to getting down and dirty and helping with property maintenance, even in hot weather. And of course I love animals!!
