Hi, nice to meet you! :) My name is Loki, I'm 18 years old from Germany and currently backpacking Australia.
I only graduated school last year and just couldn't imagine myself immediately starting uni without exploring the world a bit. And that's how I landed down under! ;) I absolutely love it here so far and I'm really exited about meeting new people from all over the world. Further, I plan on studying social work and chase my passion of working with children. I did a few internships and holiday jobs in child care centres but I guess that's just not enough for me.
I've definitely always been a creative person. Some of my favorite hobbies include drawing and reading but also handicrafts such as knitting and crocheting. I'm still a little sad, I couldn't take all of my projects backpacking with me. :,) Anyways, some of my other favorite things include going for walks with my best friend and her dog. I myself have always had cats but I really don't care what kind of animal, I love all of them.
So what does all of that say about me? I don't know, I'm just some kid who's happy about being able to travel and to meet new people on the way. I haven't yet had the opportunity to stay with a host family because I just arrived in Australia in January. But I'm very exited to meet new people via workaway! :)

I've always been interested in learning new languages! :) In school I had English, Latin and Spanish, although my Spanish is a little rusty. But I'd absolutely love to freshen it up a bit! As German is my native language I'm sure I could also teach a bit of German to anybody who's interested. :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've worked in a lot of different child care centres during internships and holiday jobs. Between school and my travels I also worked in a bakery where I learned a thing or two about organizing a team and dealing with customers. I've definitely always been an outdoor person and would help my mom a lot with gardening growing up. The creative bone in my body also has a love for building stuff, so I also helped build a lot of crazy projects in our garden like a terracce. I also love cooking, though I'm not the best at it. But I can still whip up a decent meal. Other than that I'm always eager to learn new stuff and would describe myself as a relatively fast learner. :)
My main skill set is definitely in all things creative. Building, drawing, painting, handicrafts etc. I'm always down for anything creative. :)
