Description
Hello :) my name is Lina and I´m from Berlin. I am planning to travel for a year to get to know new people and see new places.
I´ve been living in a big city for all my life. On one hand this led to meeting people from all over the world, which made me curious to experience some of those cultures as well. On the other hand I never got to experience nature as much as I wanted to. I love to take long walks with my family and friends in Berlins rural areas and go for a swim. However, now I would really love it, if I didn´t have to drive for a full hour to be in nature.
I also love a lot of simple things like baking, knitting, playing cardgames, having long talks with my friends and family, cuddling my grandmas dog or playing the piano.
I hope you got a small first impression of me as a person and if you have any more questions feel free to ask me anything.
I am excited for this experience and to help you out as much as I can.
Best regards, Lina :)Centres d’intérêt

I´ve been voluntaring at an organization for childrens gymnastics for the past seven years and did an internship at a kindergarden when I was 14, so I know my way around kids quite well and also learned taking responsibility upon my self.
I´ve also always been a big fan of all kinds of animals and with that learned a few things about how to take care and act around them. The fact that I used to ride horses as a kid, as well as my grandmas dog always made pets a big part of my life.
During former workaways I got to learn a lot about all different kinds of work, like gardening, insulating, painting or small DIY-Building projects.
I am excited to learn a lot of new things and hopefully broaden this list more and more by next year.Âge

I am actually planing to travel together with my friend Luise.
We met in seventh grade and especially because our sisters were friends we immediately felt connected and have been friends since then.
We love to cook together and always try new recipes. However, to be quite honest we wouldn't recommend any of the things we made in the first three years of our friendship. ;) Nowadays we found our way around it and can actually quite enjoy our meals while watching the most cliché childhood movies.Informations complémentaires

Always positive, always willing to assist and you were great in putting up scaffolding together with Lars.
So nice spending time with you!
We painted one of the houses and got to learn a lot about them and their lives.

They helped us in the garden, raking TONS of leaves, pruning, cutting down scrubs, clearing out the attic (no task for the faint hearted!) as well as some sowing and replanting. They did more than their… read more
There were lots of different tasks we could choose from everyday (for example raking, organizing, gardening or cooking) and the work was never too hard.
We got to know a lot of great people (and cats) that grew really close to our hearts and made it… read more

They were with us about one month and became really part of the family!
All jobs promptly and good, thinking for them selves and doing even more than asked.
Fantastic salads and cooking!!
Play cards, Catan, dice and more, enjoying time with the kids.
They are always welcome back!!
From the moment we arrived they made us feel welcome and included us in their loving and never boring family life.
We had lots of fun playing games, watching movies, baking cookies or singing canons with the kids and had many interesting conversations with Mareike and Jan.
