Description
Hello! We are Reem (she/her) and Lia (they/them), a couple living in Boston, MA. Reem is soon to be an Urban Farm manager in Boston, and Lia is an environmental justice professional working remotely with communities across the U.S.
Lia is originally from Michigan, and has lived/worked/volunteered in many places, including New Orleans, Ohio, Michigan, San Francisco, and Ireland, and has traveled around North America and to Europe and South America.
Reem grew up in Vermont, and has lived/worked/volunteered in Massachusetts, Puerto Rico, Vermont, and Lebanon. She has traveled around North America, to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.

Lia has previously done amazing Workaways in Ireland and New Orleans, and Reem is excited to start traveling and volunteering with Workaway. We are excited about continuing to meet new people, share and volunteer, and explore new places.
Volunteer sites that have been the best match for us in the past have included some or all of these features:

- 4 years of experience doing Workaway, housesitting, and other relevant volunteer work
- 8 years of experience in childcare, elder care, and pet/animal care
- Communication is crucial for safety, relationship-building, and trust, and so we prioritize healthy and open communication
