I can't surf but I'd love to learn it!!

Hi I'm Lena,
I graduated from highschool this year and now I want to get to know new countries, foreign cultures and meet new people. Since my childhood Australia has been on my top ten list to travel to, so I'm very excited to finally let my dream come true and visit Australia this winter.

I would consider myself as quite spontaneous, caring and open-minded.I love being around other people and try new things. Also, I like to be around nature, especially when it's nature I'm not used to. I live in Berlin, the capital of Germany and sometimes I long for more quiet places, the ocean and exotic animals like koalas and kangaroos ;)
Unfortunately, I do not have a driver license yet but road trips do sound perfect to me. It would be like a dream come true for me if I'd get the chance to do one abroad. Besides, I'm always in for activities like surfing, swimming, snorkeling, hiking, camping or playing any type of team sports as long as it is fun.

I went skydiving in Wollongong, NSW and I'd love to try bungee jumping too!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

First of all, I love being around kids and spend time with them. For more than one year I have been babysitting in different families on a regular basis. I take care of children of nearly every age, from 6 months to 12 years everything is included.

Moreover, I had all in all five guinea pigs and one bunny in my life, so I know how to take care of them. Dogs and cats are animals I really like too. I would love to help out on a farm and learn more about it.

Despite this, I built the cage for my guinea pigs on my own. It was a big wooden cage and I did the sketches, measured everything, bought the wood and eventually put everything together. Also, I assembled all furniture in my room myself. Considering this, I'd say I am good at manual work and DIYs.
Furthermore, I am a good swimmer and I play the piano.
Also, I like writing poems and stories. It is something I do whenever I have time to.
Sadly, I have no experience in gardening work but I'd love to learn more about it. The same applies to sailing and boating.
