Hi everyone!✨ I’m Kornélia.
I come from Banská Štiavnica, a small but incredibly beautiful unesco town in central Slovakia.

I'm an open-minded and easy-going person. I'm responsible and very excited to learn new skills and meet some new wonderful people.

I enjoy learning languages. The first one I mastered on my own was English and just a few months ago I picked up Polish the reason being I hope to study at a uni in Poland. This is also the main reason why I’m looking for a workaway opportunity specifically in Poland as I am hoping to improve my speaking skills and Polish in general.

Apart from languages I really enjoy reading and I am a huge fan of the humanities in general. I love swimming and did horse riding back in the day. I love meeting new different people and getting to know new places.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a lot of experience with animals. Throughout my life, I have been surrounded by animals, including dogs and many smaller pets at home. On top of that, I was part of an equestrian club for two years, where I not only rode horses but also helped take care of them and assisted around the stables. For the past year, I've also been fostering dogs.

I spent the previous two summers working at a café in a cultural centre, which was honestly the experience of a lifetime. I worked there as a barista and waitress, but I also helped organise cultural events and everything connected to them. Most importantly, though, I met and often became friends with many lovely people: artists, academics, activists, and free-spirited travellers.

I also volunteered as part of the organising team for a summer university, feminist festival and multiple Erasmus exchanges.

I helped a friend with improving his Slovak and tutored some of my peers in maths and Slovak.

For the past year, I have been working part-time as a sales assistant in a clothing shop.
