Description

Hey! I am Julia, 19 years old and from Germany. I have always loved traveling and I am currently doing my first volunteering with Workaway in Mallorca! In November I will be babysitting in Alicante and right now I am looking for a place to stay during December(preferably Malaga). I did a highschool exchange year in Florida in 2022 which made me want to get out of Germany and meet new people even more. I want to go on more adventures, form friendships and explore as many places as possible in Spain. My main goals are to learn Spanish fluently and make unforgettable memories. I am very outgoing and excited to face new challenges. I am always curious and like to learn something every day. I want to stay in different environments to get the most out of my solo-traveling. It doesn't matter if it is a party people place or a family environment. Most important for me is to have a great time with the people I am staying with and explore the places I go to as much as I can.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am very open-minded and I like socializing. During my weekends working at a restaurant(2023), I developed flexibility and responsibility, while also improving my communication skills by working in a team and interacting with guests. I would be happy to work as a server again, but I can also see myself thriving in a receptionist role. Additionally, I volunteered for two weeks at a hospital, where I was responsible for cleaning patients’ beds, setting up lunch tables, and assisting patients with their questions. In my final year of high school, I prepared and taught lessons for 4th graders once a week. Spending time with them, seeing each student make progress and opening up to me was the best part about teaching. I’ve also had some experience babysitting, which I thoroughly enjoyed too. Overall, I am eager to take on new challenges, including jobs I haven’t done before, to improve my skills. I am always open to feedback and willing to learn.

I am an animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs. I have one at home in Germany too. I like going to the gym and working out.
