Hi! We are a young couple (27 and 26) from Australia. We are currently travelling around Western Australia before we plan on moving to Tasmania. We both love to travel, meet new people, learn new things and experience new cultures. Which is why we want to do a workaway!

A little bit about Linka:
I am a pharmacist who loves to spend as much time outdoors as I can after work. I love to hike, snorkel, scuba dive and anything to do with the beach. I love travelling, reading, cooking and caring for animals. I also have experience in hospitality, house sitting and am open to learning new things. I am also interested in sustainability and living off grid, I would love to learn more about this through a workaway as I plan on doing this myself in the future.

A little bit about Josh:
Hi, I am a project engineer who has worked in the construction industry for the past couple of years (mostly water and wastewater infrastructure). I grew up on a 10 acre suburban farm where we grew avocados, olives, and various citrus, as well as had a few sheep, chickens, and bees. I have a bit of experience helping my Dad around the farm maintaining irrigation, fencing, and lots of other odd jobs. I've been lucky enough to volunteer a few times using Workaway and have always had a positive experience. In 2017/18 I worked for a lovely lady in Northen Norway who runs a tourism business where tourists from all over the world come to swim in the arctic ocean, use her seaside saunas and see the beautiful northern lights. I mainly helped her maintain the saunas, chop firewood, shovel snow, and serve customers in the cafe/gift shop. In 2019, I worked on a remote island in South East Alaska, where I helped out on an oyster farm and off-grid homestead for 6 weeks. In the same year I worked in British Columbia for 3 weeks at a lakeside resort where I helped with the set-up/pack-up of various functions and in the restaurant. In my spare time I like to tinker around in my shed and have recently built a camping fit out for my Toyota Troopcarrier which Linka and I have travelled around Australia in. I also really enjoy listening to music and photography.
