I'm a 30-year-old man who loves to explore the world and immerse myself in different cultures.
I am from Brighton, UK and have spent the last year travelling Australia. I've just arrived in New Zealand, where I hope to find some workaways to help me immerse into the Kiwi culture, explore the local areas and learn as much about the country, permaculture, animal care and self-sufficiency as possible.

I'm passionate about sustainability and off grid living and have recently been learning about permaculture. I care deeply about animal welfare and love spending time surrounded by nature and animals. My dream is to build my own cob home and permaculture farm with the intention of being completely self-sufficient, so I would love to immerse myself into an environment that could enable me to learn as much as I can to help me achieve this, by offering my help in any way I can.

I am a chef by trade but see myself as a bit of a handy man. I became a chef because I love hands on work and being busy. Although my CV states I have been a chef for 8 years, I believe I have a lot more to offer. I am a hard worker and a natural perfectionist. Any job that is given to me, I always try to give 110% and I genuinely just enjoy helping people, being part of a community and doing something a little more fulfilling and aligning with my morals and beliefs.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been a chef for 8 years so I would be happy to help in the kitchen and even help people with prep/cooking techniques and knife skills.

Despite not being professionally trained in any other field, I do see myself as a bit of a handy man. I have always enjoyed gardening and the odd diy job here and there. My mum was a single mum so I was the one that did most of the hard labour work around the house and garden. I love hands on jobs and will give anything a go. I'm also a quick learner so it won't take me long to learn the ropes. As a natural perfectionist, I always try my hardest to do a job well.
