My name is Joe and I am 28 years old. I am hoping to spend from March - August of 2024 traveling, learning about different cultures (languages, food, movies, music), beekeeping, and gardening.

I most recently found a hobby/passion in gardening & beekeeping, and hope to gain more experience with those hobbies, while also wanting to learn more about sustainability. I enjoy the outdoors (camping, hiking, skiiing), cooking, and learning new things!

The last 5 years I spent working for a construction company, it was great, but I rarely made the time for my hobbies and what I enjoy doing. I am taking this time away from the rat race of work to better understand more about myself, and the world we all live in (gaining different cultural perspectives and learning new languages).

I believe traveling as a workawayer will help me gain a greater perspective of our world, shape my personal lifestyle of how I would like to live, and grow in a personal and emotional sense.

We only have so much time in this life to see and learn on this rock called earth, this seemed like a great place to start!

I have began reintroducing learning spanish into my routine, but also plan to learn Italian as I hope to explore different regions of Italy throughout my life. Overall, I am open and willing to learning any language this world presents me with the pleasure of staying at, and if anyone wants to further refine their English, I may assist.
