Description

My name is Jess and I come from a small rural town in Australia! I love learning and thinking deeply about things - whether that's academic (I'm planning to study anthropology and art next year), learning new skills, or understanding different people and cultures. I love yoga, going for walks, reading, and am also a hard worker and would like to be challenged to do different, interesting work. My lifelong ambition is filmmaking - I've been making films basically since I aged out of eating sand, and had my short films screened in festivals around the world, including the Cannes Film Festival (Which I was lucky enough to attend! I even took an EXTREMELY awkward photo of my friend with Woody Harrelson). Looking forward to making some memories :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked in hospitality and retail for the past 6+ years, and take pride in doing my job well and providing great customer service.

I have a few years of babysitting experience and enjoy playing with kids and know how to 'split the cookie' problem solve if needed :) I can also help kids with English homework (I've been tutoring Years 8-12 for a year, and was a high-achiever at school).

Being an award-winning filmmaker/director, I have extensive filmmaking and cinematography experience. I have experience creating commercial and social media videos for a number of organisations.

I love creative projects! I have performed in theatre and musicals.

I have played netball competitively, and basketball (definitely not competitively hehe).

I have worked as an office cleaner in past.

I have some experience with manual labour work and would like more :)

I love a good movie night (favourite genre is horror!!), board game session or after-dinner philosophical chat. I play the ukulele, sing (mostly to myself, in the shower) and love all types of music. Weirdly, I find baking calms me down.
