Hi! I’m Izzy, a 19-year-old German-American currently living in Japan on a working holiday visa. I have traveled to over 15 countries. I love planning my travels around local life—getting to know people, learning about different cultures, and lending a hand where I can.
I’m organized, open-minded, and creative. I love working with children, baking, walking, reading and crafting. I’m also learning Japanese (N5), and I plan to study math in the future.
I’ve done babysitting, tutoring and gymnastics coaching. I care about kindness, curiosity, and being respectful and helpful to others.

こんにちは！イジーといいます。19歳のドイツ系アメリカ人で、今はワーキングホリデービザで日本に住んでいます。これまでに15か国以上を旅行しました。観光よりも、現地の人々の暮らしに触れることが好きで、人と出会い、文化を学びながら、できることでお手伝いしたいと思っています。

私は整理整頓が得意で、オープンマインドで、クリエイティブな性格です。子どもと遊んだり、お菓子を作ったり、歩いたり、本を読んだり、ものを作るのが好きです。
今は日本語を勉強中で、N5レベルです。将来は数学を勉強する予定です。

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I graduated high school in Germany with a focus on English and math. I’m creative, quick to learn, and love working with my hands—crocheting, sewing, baking, small repairs, and crafts. I’ve helped my dad (a guitar builder) with woodworking, and done things like painting a mural and fixing furniture.

I speak native-level German and English, and I’m learning Japanese (N5). I’d be happy to help others learn my languages!

I’ve worked with kids as a babysitter and gymnastics coach, and have experience helping on a farm, gardening, and helping at an elderly home. I love meeting new people and sharing skills. I’m calm, friendly, and always up for new experiences.
