Description
Current Plans: I have plans to explore Southeast Asia for the first part of 2025 and would love to make some friends and travel companions along the way. All I know is that I will begin in Japan in January and see where the wind takes me from there. Some countries I'd love to visit include Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines - really I could be convinced to go anywhere.
Travel Style: I'd like to travel on the slower side, really getting to know a place (after dealing with fast travel chaos for the last year). I am flexible and spontaneous as long as the budget allows. I'd also like to stay active and I may or may not be into running by that point (we will see). I am ballin on a budget but where I tend to splurge is food (but I gotta chill with that). In terms of accommodations, I'd love to stay at cheaper places for longer periods of time (it's possible to get a month-long stay in many places in Southeast Asia for $250-$300). And the occasional Workaway if I'm able to do that with my job (so something less demanding).
Career: I am a travel writer and editor by profession which I adore. The work is remote which enables me to travel however long I'm able, something I'm very grateful for. I need about 5-6 hours five days a week of work time with the rest of the time for exploring and relaxing. It would be great to travel with other digital nomads!
Personality: I love to try new things and learn as much as possible. I love going out and dancing, attending cultural festivals, and really exploring any lively nightlife scene. Surfing has been a dream of mine forever! I do enjoy my alone time and spending time relaxing but adventures tend to take precedence. Again, I'm open to pretty much anything - now is the time in my life to explore.

I would love to become fluent in two or more languages in my life time. I have began learning many but the one I'm currently trying to learn is Spanish. I'm going to try to visit Central and South America sometime next year.
