Description

Curious about people and places – I`m Greta. I just graduated highschool, am looking forward to studying one day and would like to share my first experiences of adulthood around the globe widening my perspective. I believe that the best way to truly understand a culture is by living it, not just visiting it. My passions are making music, cooking, spending time in nature and connecting with people. What matters most to me is open and honest communication, kindness, and sustainability. Being active and always in progress means a lot to me. Can’t wait to learn and grow!

After spending quite some time in school discussing the importance of language in relation to our thinking, I’ve become very interested in exploring different language systems. Learning English has brought me a lot of joy, and I truly believe that dialects and languages should not disappear just because our world is becoming more globalized. I am eager to learn a new language and teach someone my mother tongue or basic English.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

During school, I worked in an organic legume workshop called "Qio", where I produced snacks, designed ads, cleaned the workspace and did overall service. It was a small startup, which made it intimate and gave me insight in various directions from hands-on food preparation to customer service in hospitality for one year.

At the moment, I’m working in a hotel kitchen, mainly responsible for setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet. Being in the kitchen brings me a lot of joy – it's always been a place of comfort for me, where I feel fulfilled and free to experiment.

I’ve occasionally helped with buffets too and looked after a child from time to time. Together with my grandmother, I sometimes do small renovation work in her garden, which holds a special place in my heart.

Overall, I'm a motivated, flexible, and empathetic person who enjoys working with both people and animals (I was surrounded by cats and dogs at home all my life). I’m good at organizing, staying calm in busy situations, and learning quickly. Whether it's practical tasks, creative work, or supporting others. I approach everything with care and a positive attitude.
