Hey we're Fred and Laurence! A couple from Montréal (Canada) passionate about adventure and looking for our next trip! We love being in nature, doing hands-on work, and we’re always eager to learn new things! We’re also big fans of all kinds of art and share a deep love for animals and caring for them. Our first language is French, but we both speak English quite well. Fred is vegan, and Laurence is vegetarian. We're both interested by slow living and we would love to learn more about this lifestyle.

Fred, 29 (they/them/iel). I did a lot of Workaways in the past and I love it! It’s truly a pleasure to meet beautiful people everywhere in the world and to be able to learn different kind of things. I wanna show Laurence the pleasure of being in a part of a Workaway. In my daily life, I work with children with special needs, and I’ve also worked on farms. I have a degree in farming.

Laurence, 25 (she/her). I’m a very social person and love meeting new people! I work in communications/marketing in the cultural and arts sectors. I’m passionate about gardening and farming and looking to deepen my knowledge in those areas. I’m also an amateur musician and love photography, arts & crafts, and cooking!

We’re excited to meet new people and share some wonderful experiences together!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Fred has a lot of experience working on farms, so they're very comfortable with gardening and anything related to it. Laurence also has a green thumb and enjoys helping with gardening, plant care, and other related tasks. We also love animals and we're used to taking care of them— we both grew up with animals in our homes. If you have dogs, we'd definitely be happy to take them for walks!

Fred has also worked with children and really enjoy playing with them and teaching them whatever they can, while Laurence has several years of babysitting experience.

We would love helping around the house with general maintenance as well. Fred used to work as an housekeeper and we both find it relaxing to do those tasks.
