Description
Hey!
My name is Franzi and I love to get to see new places and connect to people. I grew up in Germany and then moved back and forth between Germany and France for my studies. I also lived in Canada and Cameroon. I work as a video journalist now and always kept my curiosity to get to know things. Besides my job, I do some personal photodocumentary projects. My photos allow me to learn about people, activities and to get in touch.
I do think that exchange is making you rich and therefore joined Workaday. I like learning and practicing languages (German, French, English, Italian, Arabic so far).
I am a creative person that expresses in art as paintings and sketches but also music. I like to be outside and hike, being connected to nature and believe that working with your own hands makes you content.

I think learning languages is opening up new doors to culture, literature, music and people. It's one way to connect to new surroundings and being able to speak them and learn about them is enriching. I can teach German and French. I can exchange in English, yet not so much teach grammar. I would love to improve my knowledge in Italian and Arabic.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
There is two or three main experiences I have.
I have already worked with children my whole life. As a babysitter, a tutor for French and Maths and a teacher during a whole year with disabled children. I have some pedagogic knowledge and believe in gentle parenting.
I also am a creative person. Whenever someone around me is building or renovating, you will find me join them. It's so fulfilling to give old things an update and make use of what already exists. I don't mind getting dirty while working. I also love painting and playing the guitar.
The last thing I do know is care for plants. I would love to have a huge garden with my own fruits and vegetables later, but am still learning a lot about agriculture.
