Description
Hi! My name is Emma. I am currently on exchange in Vancouver studying oceanography and political science. At home in Australia I work as a scuba diving instructor and as a bar tender on the side of my studies.
I would love to explore a little bit more of BC after my semester ends. I love being outdoors whether that be hiking, working outside or simply just relaxing. I also really enjoy being around animals and am always excited and eager to learn about them and how to look after them.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I study oceanography and work as a dive instructor and would love to share my knowledge surrounding the ocean. I have teaching experience from working as a dive instructor and from tutoring various levels of maths to school students. I love to teach and share my knowledge with people of all ages, as well as learn from other people too.
I am a native English speaker but I also speak german. I wouldn't necessarily be able to teach German, but would always be happy to hold conversations.
I am a very creative person and have learnt to apply that to things like cooking, music and generally solving problems.
I also have experience working in the tourism industry both in reception settings and in general house keeping.
The work that I have done also means that I am very good at working with people and as part of a team. I can receive instructions well and learn quickly with some guidance. I love to learn new skills by giving everything a try and I hope that this would happen with Workaway.
