Hi! I'm Eilidh from Scotland. I grew up in a small village on the North Sea coast before moving to Edinburgh for university. I have also lived Norway (Bergen and briefly Tromsø).
I came to Australia to escape spending my twenties behind a desk. My intention was to do a standard working holiday and travel the whole country, but I quickly fell in love with Sydney and have spent most of my time there and in the surrounding area. Now I'm looking to start exploring further afield again.
I would describe myself as a friendly introvert. I'm calm, sensible and respectful. I like being active (gymnastics, ice skating, climbing, hiking), but I also like to chill somewhere cosy and read a book or watch a film. I play saxophone and bass guitar, and I want to learn piano. I do some photography and have recently been rekindling my childhood love of drawing. I'm interested in learning languages, so please teach me yours!
I'm fond of animals and follow a vegan diet.Centres d’intérêt

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
In 2023 I spent 6 months living and working on a tall ship. I learned how to set sails and to climb aloft to furl/unfurl sails. I also helped with a lot of maintenance work - sanding, painting, varnishing, working with power tools, etc.
I'm a tidy, organised, clean person with some experience in housekeeping and house-sitting.
I have customer service experience including working with tourists and children.
I'm interested in learning about gardening, DIY and self-sufficiency.
I'm a conscientious, diligent person and keen to learn anything and everything.
I'm a native English speaker (and people tell me my accent is easy to understand), so I can always help with English. I also speak Norwegian at an advanced level, but I'm not totally fluent. I'm patient, insightful, and good with children.
And I can teach you all about Scotland! Ceilidh dances, songs, fun Scottish words, the best spots to visit, and all the rest.Âge
