Hey there!

I'm David, a 29-year-old economist and lawyer with a passion for data analytics, photography, agriculture, eco-architecture, and social media. I've spent the past two years working in marketing and advertising, using data to drive business decisions and create effective campaigns.

When I'm not working, you can usually find me exploring my interests in eco-friendly projects and sustainable living. I'm particularly drawn to eco-architecture and have been following the latest developments in this field with great interest. I'm also a coffee aficionado, having grown up in Colombia and developed a deep appreciation for the art of coffee-making. I know about the different preparation methods, filtering and roasting processes, and I'm always on the lookout for new blends to try.

Recently, my family and I have embarked on an exciting environmental recovery project. We're working to restore deforested land in a responsible way, using vermiculture, bird watching, planting for consumption, and the planting of native trees to promote biodiversity in the region. It's been a challenging and rewarding experience, and I'm proud to be part of a project that's making a positive impact on the environment.

Currently, I'm traveling around the UK and Europe, participating in volunteer projects and soaking up new experiences wherever I go. I'm always eager to learn more and to contribute my skills and knowledge to local initiatives.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As a person, I would say that I have a wide variety of skills and interests. I love engaging in conversations and meeting new people, which has led me to develop a skill for problem-solving and collaboration with others. Photography is another passion of mine, as I enjoy capturing interesting moments and details from the world around me.

In addition to these interests, I also have knowledge in agriculture and flowers, which allows me to enjoy caring for plants and designing landscapes. I am particularly knowledgeable in composting and vermicomposting, which allows me to utilize natural resources to fertilize and improve soil quality in a sustainable way. I love working with the earth and seeing it thrive with the proper care techniques. I am confident that I can apply these skills and knowledge to any agricultural or landscaping project that I have the opportunity to undertake during my Workaway experience.

Furthermore, birdwatching and nature observation are other hobbies that I enjoy. I also possess the ability to program, particularly for data analysis, as well as knowledge in electricity and carpentry, which has allowed me to complete DIY projects at home. Finally, I love animals and gardens and feel very connected to nature. Overall, I consider myself a versatile person with a passion for many things, allowing me to have a broad and creative perspective on life.

As for additional observations, I'd like to mention that I really enjoy playing games. I'm a big fan of both board games and digital games. On my computer, I enjoy playing games like Age of Empires and 0AD, and on consoles, I enjoy games like Halo and Call of Duty. When I'm with my family, we like to play games like Parques, Uno, Poker, Risk, and many others.

Currently, I am traveling with my cousin, and we are both excited to explore UK while practicing and learning English. We are new to the Workaway platform, but we are eager to make the most of this opportunity. We have plenty of energy, enthusiasm, and dedication, and we are ready to work hard and learn as much as we can during our stay.
