Hi everyone!

I’m Daniel, 23, from Finland. I’ve recently completed my degree in sports management, and now feels like the perfect time to finally go after one of my biggest dreams: traveling around the world.

This autumn my plan is to travel to Asia – I’m super excited to meet cool people, learn about new cultures and share experiences. I still don’t know “what do I wanna be when I grow up”, but I do know that in this life I want to take on as many adventures and make as many memories as I possibly can.

I’m a very active person and I spend almost all my time outdoors. I also love to try new things and I’ve tried quite a few jobs too; I’ve worked as a journalist, coordinated sports events and hosted activities for children and families in a hotel.

When it comes to volunteering, I’m seeking diverse and culturally rich opportunities that allow me to learn, grow, connect and contribute. I’m a friendly and positive guy who always gets along with everyone, and I’m really looking forward to meeting you all out there!

I don’t have any specific route in my mind, but I’d like to explore several countries in Asia during the next months. If anything, I would love to learn how to surf better, my first time was a disaster…

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've worked in several social jobs in several countries and I’m good at understanding and collaborating with different kinds of people from different cultures.

I worked as a customer success host in Finland, which taught me patience and customer service skills. In Qatar and Barcelona, I volunteered at football events, where I improved my coordinating and organizing abilities.

I've also worked one summer season in a hotel in Mallorca delivering activities to kids and families, so that’s something that I’d be very comfortable with.

I’m also quick to learn and adapt, and I’d be very eager to develop new skills during my travels!
