Hi all!

We are two 27-year-old best friends who quit our jobs and sold all of our belongings to backpack the world. We are both very open-minded, creative and adventurous people who enjoy learning new languages and trying new things. We're on the lookout for opportunities to give back to our mother earth, and build connections with people from whom we can learn about different cultures and perspectives.

Daniela
Passports: Australian and Italian (EU)
I’m open-minded, outgoing and deeply curious. I’m passionate about food and sustainability (I live a vegetarian lifestyle), the outdoors and anything/everything to do with the arts. In my spare time I love to hike, rock climb, dive, read, write, do yoga and backpack.

Skills:
- Cooking, hospitality (my family have a restaurant in Australia so I am familiar with this work)
- Writing and editing (I am a Journalist)
- Organising, entertaining and hosting events
- Gardening (I grew up on a hobby farm growing our own tomatoes and herbs)

Phoebe
Passports: Australian and British (UK)
I'm a warm and compassionate person with a deep love for animals and nature. I love spending time outside in the sunshine and feel especially at home in the sea. In my spare time, I love to read, hike, camp, paint, and DIVE!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Daniela:

Writing: I'm a journalist and have also worked as a freelance writer for culture magazines/websites so I am a confident writer.

Brand strategy: I've got an eye for marketing and have worked as a strategist for small businesses wishing to elevate their brand.

Hospitality: My family have owned restaurants since I was little so I've grown up in the hospitality world. I have a huge appreciation for good food and know kitchen etiquette. I've got experience as a waitress, bartender and kitchen hand.

Kids: I've worked as both an Aupair and a nanny internationally and nationally. I am very good with kids and creative play.

Other skills:
- I'm confident with answering phones and scheduling appointments
- I'm good with people and diffusing conflict
- I'm a born leader and organiser!


Phoebe:

Working with Children: I have over five years of experience working with children in many settings. I have co-directed children's musicals with Musical Theatre Los Angeles, taught drama in schools and private coaching sessions, and been a kids party host (dressed up as a princess, fairy, unicorn, superhero, and more!)

Social Media Marketing: I have a Diploma of Social Media Marketing which I used to get a job as a social media manager for a Brisbane adventure company. I also used to run my own blog, so I'm a very confident writer.

Administration: I have worked as head of administration and accounts at a civil construction company, and as an administration officer in the Emergency Department at a major public hospital in Brisbane. I have the organisational skills, attention to detail and people skills that you need to excel in administrative work.

Hospitality: I have years of experience as a waitress and bartender. I love whipping out my bartending skills in social settings!

Video Editing Skills: Working hand-in-hand with my social media knowledge, I love editing footage together to tell a story.
