Description
Hello, I’m Catherine! I am from a beautiful small ski town in the mountains of northern Utah (USA) called Midway. I love to ski, read, horseback ride, mountain bike, rock climb, hike, cook, bake, travel, play guitar, paint, write, camp, etc. I was taking a gap year between college semesters and living in Uganda when COVID hit in 2020, and since then, my sister and I have traveled together to 10 countries! It's so fun to have a built-in travel buddy and best friend sister! I love volunteering abroad and seeing how people live around the world!
Some of my other passions include natural/holistic wellness, mindfulness/meditation, clean, local, seasonal eating, and music! I’m a certified yoga instructor, foot zoner, trained chef, and music enthusiast. Most of all, I love people! Human connection is my favorite part of life and I love making friends!
In 2022, I was working in marketing at a natural foods brand here in the US. I left that job to go and travel for a few months with my sister, and then I went to culinary school at Ballymaloe in Ireland! After that, I did a lot of freelance private cheffing and now I'm back in branding and marketing (and nannying on the side for fun).
Besides my background in marking and the culinary world, I love, love working with kids and have years of experience working with kids as a tennis instructor, English teacher, and nanny.
Most of all, I'm a believer: I believe in life, in beauty, human heart, in adventure, in magic, in dreams, in love, and I believe in a beautiful universe that always guides the ripples of our lives, leading us to the people and experiences that are meant for us on each of our unique paths.
