Description

My name is Carla, I’m 19 in october !!and I come from the south of France, near the sea.

I study business and law, and I am taking a gap semester to travel and improve my English. I am adventurous, I love challenges, and my friends say I am funny, unpredictable but reliable. I have a twin sister who studies medicine, we are very close but different.
I enjoy sports, nature, traveling (USA road trip, Turkey, Italy, England…), music (big Taylor Swift fan 🎶), concerts, board games and social evenings. I love cooking pancakes and crêpes, painting, and being creative. I
would love to learn surfing, travel more (my dream is to go around the world) and connect with people everywhere.
My English is not perfect yet, but I come to Australia to improve it and prepare for the TOEFL to continue my studies abroad. I am not afraid of working hard or getting my hands dirty, and I am very motivated to share and learn.. I am a bit shy at first but then very sociable, organized and curious. I am looking for a real family and cultural experience.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am currently studying for a Bachelor in Business Administration (English program) and also in my first year of Law studies. I can teach my native language, French, and in exchange I would love to improve my English.

I have good skills in computers and digital tools, and I enjoy painting, creating, decorating and styling. I am a creative and practical person, and I also like to organize. With my friends, I run small blogs, which helps me practice communication and design.

My experience includes:
-Children: I have taken care of children under 10 years old within my family.
-Animals: I had a dog (cocker spaniel) that I looked after every day (walking, playing, cleaning). I also know the basics of looking after a horse, as my sister competed in riding and we had two horses in the family.
-House & organization: I help my father manage several rental apartments (cleaning, organization, sometimes administrative tasks). Cleaning and daily housework are not a problem for me.
-Cooking & events: I like to organize simple and friendly meals (like crêpe evenings) or small parties. I would also love to learn new recipes.
-Internships: I have done several internships in communication and sales, which helped me develop responsibility, organization and professionalism.

I am curious, energetic and open to any type of learning: gardening, DIY, housework, or discovering new cultures. I love to share and exchange, and I would be happy to introduce you to French culture as well.

I like to discover and develop new passions. I play basketball, ride my bike, and I am starting to enjoy video games. Music is very important in my life (I love concerts, especially Taylor Swift 🎶). I also enjoy fun board games like Uno, Go Fish (7 families), or Quems (even if I lose almost every time 😅).

I also enjoy simple moments: a walk in nature, a movie night with friends, cooking crêpes or pancakes, organizing small friendly parties, or just laughing while playing a game. I love learning new things, trying new sports (I would love to try surfing 🏄‍♀️), discovering cultures, and sharing my own French culture.
