Description

I love the outdoors, food, animals and really doing anything that doesn't involve sitting at a desk all day. Travelled quite a bit and spent time working/studying abroad around Europe and Morocco and 5 months in 2022 backpacking an Workawaying through Central America. Looking for more Workaway experiences and the chance to practice/learn new languages and cultures.

Cocktail Bartender - Experience at a Spanish Bar in Manchester City Centre, and events bartending at places such as Glastonbury Music Festival
PADI Divemaster - 3.5 months spent working as an intern in a dive school in Gran Canaria
Cooking - Learnt from my mum (a cook) and have been picking up recipes on my travels ever since I left home
Languages - Arabic & History grad - year abroad spent in Fes, Morocco - both Modern Standard (الفصحى) and Moroccan (الدارجة) Arabic at a conversational level - also speak limited French, German and Spanish
Through the pandemic I've been working in the Mental Health Team at Manchester's central Emergency Department
Other work experience - Volunteer work in the UK and abroad (disabled childrens' care centre in the UK - refugee NGO in Lesbos, Greece)
