You can call me Barb. I love being outdoor and enjoy living a simple lifestyle.
I came from Borneo and I love trying local foods all around the world. I love preparing my local delicacy (raw fish salad) and I do make tasty fried rice for those who like to try them.
I enjoy listening to music and I love playing the guitar with a glass of white wine to unwind during my free time. I have strong views about equality and individual freedom. You can call me a light worker.
I love animals but I am totally and utterly terrified of cockroaches and large spiders.
I get along very well with small children but I tend to be more introverted when faced with a large group setting. I learn things very quickly and a very result oriented person.
I hope to find more friends and learn more cultures all around the world.

It was such a rewarding experience volunteering here. The whole team was super supportive and warmest people I have ever met. Thank you Gillian for giving me such an opportunity to be a part of this project. I hope to volunteer here again next year!

It was such a fantastic experience volunteering with Mehmet's mum and dad. I was provided with delicious food every day; homemade yoghurt, cheese and fresh milk straight from the farm! Barabara is a very strict responsible person, she does her best at home. I am lucky to host her. I hope to meet people like her. We had nice time with her , enjoyed and laughed a lot. She is an honest and very friendly woman. I hope to host her in the future.

I am truly grateful that Mahir opened his home for me. It is such a beautiful triplex with a peaceful surrounding. I would have stayed much longer if there was another volunteer working with me. It can be quite overwhelming if you have to wait for late, 1am check-in and get up super early to help for checkout such as booking a taxi for guests.

She has a lot of experiences and knows how to do the work.
But unfortunately she is not trustable. She left 13 days before her the date She promised, just she had another offer. Morover she left when i am away. My guests locked out and i had to cancel a lot of reservations.
This platform works on mutual trust and that's the basic rule.
