Hi! I’m Ayumi from Japan.
I used to be an au pair in the US, so I’m familiar with homestays and always respectful of each household’s rules.
Since Japan is an island country, it hasn’t always been easy for me to meet people from other cultures.
That’s why I’m really motivated to connect with people from around the world, share our cultures, and learn from each other.
I’m happy when I can make new friends and share Japanese culture with them!

I’m a kind person , hard-working, who always tries my best to help others.
I’m new to Workaway and still learning how everything works, but I’m very excited to gain new experiences and get used to it little by little.

I have experience as an au pair in the United States, and I stayed with several different host families. Through that, I became comfortable living in other people’s homes and following house rules with respect and care.

I’m not confident in my cooking skills yet, but I’m more than happy to help with other tasks like washing dishes, cleaning, and organizing. I’m also good at communicating gently with children and elderly people.

I’m open-minded, flexible, and always willing to learn something new. I would love to support your family or project in any way I can, and I hope to share many happy memories through this experience.

I’m from Japan, so of course I can talk about anime! I really enjoy discussing Japanese culture, including anime, traditional customs, and everyday life in Japan.

In my free time, I like taking walks, listening to music, and learning about different cultures. I’m a calm and friendly person, and I enjoy having quiet time as well as good conversations.

I also love animals and would be happy to help take care of pets if needed. I’m always curious to try new things and open to learning from others.
