Description

Hi everyone! I recently spent a year backpacking New Zealand and loved it so much that I have decided to continue travelling, this time making my way around Australia.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, doing art with friends, swimming, spending time with my cats, going to concerts, taking walks in nature and exploring new places. A new hobby I want to pick up is cooking.

Apart from enjoying nature and exploring, one of my core motivations for travelling is the aspect of meeting new people from different places and learning from each other.

I feel privileged to be able to travel independently on the other side of the world, see so many incredible places, meet great people and have new experiences.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I come from a family of horticulturists and enjoy working with plants and being in nature. I spent a few months at a plant nursery/ market garden where I was responsible for the sowing, pricking and potting of young plants (different kinds of chili, tomato and pumpkin) as well as watering and maintenance. I would enjoy to do some garden work again.

All of my other work experience has been in hospitality. Aside from front of house and kitchen hand roles, I have worked as a receptionist and housekeeper in several resorts. I am happy to help with household chores like cleaning and laundry.

I have limited knowledge of working with animals as I have only cared for my family's own cats and guinea pigs. I would like to learn how to care for other animals as well, preferably on a farm.

I don't have a lot of knowledge regarding cooking/baking, but I am eager to improve my cooking skills. I think that cooking can be a great activity to socialize and learn from each other. One of my main goals this year is to try out more recipes for healthy vegetarian meals.
