Description
Hello, I am Annelike, living in Utrecht, the Netherlands. In daily life, I am working in environment and health research. I am combining this payed work with volunteering (and sometimes working) for communal flower/vegetable gardens, and for YHA England and Wales as volunteer hostel manager. I love to be outside, being active and enjoy nature, quietness & scenery. I am interested in singing, sustainability, sailing, and african percussion/dance.

I am interested in opportunities at a distance of one day travel by train from the netherlands (uk, denmark, germany, france), i am free from work till mid oktober 2025

I had a good time off work in 2016 and 2020, partly ' working away' at different places.
In 2025, I repeat being away from the office for 6 months, from April-mid Oktober. April-May I will work at the ecological garden at the Dutch island Schiermonnikoog, after June i ampartly available to workaway. Looking forward to go with the flow and hopefully find a nice place to volunteer at (less than) a day train distance from the Netherlands.

Not only was Annelike a very good cook, she was friendly and relaxed and I enjoyed it to have her in my house. We made nice walks and had good talks. She helped where it was needed. I hope that we can keep in touch. Thank you Annelike, I hope to see you soon again!

I stayed with Liesbeth for 9 days and had a wonderful time. Liesbeth is very hospitable, facilitating for example by borrowing a bike for me to explore the beautiful, quiet area. Relaxed, that is what I felt like at Bettina's place. The countryside is quiet (mainly farmland) and the place is a very special, creative spot.
