Hi there :)

I am Aloña, I am from the Basque Country, which is located on the north part of Spain. Even if the main language in our country is Spanish, where we live we speak Basque, which is the only isolated language in Europe nowadays. I would be really happy to teach you a bit :)

I live on a farm in here where we have plenty of apple trees with which we make cider. Moreover, we have ponnies, hens, chickens, dogs and cats.

I love being outdoors on nature, learning about plants, reading as much as possible, practicing yoga and dancing.

I have finished my both degrees on psychology and nursery and now I work as a mental health nurse here in my country. However, I have wide interests in other topics such as linguistics, literature and botany.

One of my biggest motivations right now is to learn being as self-sufficient as possible in order to appreciate what I really have and in order to be connected with nature as much as possible. I would love to continue with my family farm in the future too so that's why I find this Workaway initiative so interesting: it allows me to learn from your proyect while I help you a bit and gain new skills which can be useful for me :)
