As a Mediterranean soul thriving in France, I have an insatiable curiosity for the world—whether it’s through traveling, immersing myself in different cultures, or writing about life’s endless wonders. I find joy in meeting people, listening to their stories, and gaining fresh perspectives that challenge and enrich my understanding of the world. Each conversation, each experience, is a new lens through which I see life, deepening my appreciation for its diversity and interconnectedness.

Born and raised in Cyprus, I moved to Strasbourg, France, six years ago for my studies and ended up falling in love with the city's charm. Fluent in three and a half languages (the half being my Greek—still a work in progress!), I speak Turkish, English, and French fluently, with some knowledge of Greek.

I'm eager to volunteer for any project related to language exchange, as well as helping with housework, gardening, or animal care. I maintain a pretty active lifestyle—regularly running, sometimes hiking and commuting by bike in the city—so I'm happy to lend a hand wherever needed.

With immediate availability, I'm looking for a welcoming host family, mainly in Italy. :)

As a language nerd, I’m always excited to improve the languages I already speak, learn new ones, or help others with theirs. My passion for languages is what led me to study them at university—I truly believe that language is a powerful tool that allows us, as humans, to connect and communicate with people from different parts of the world, even if we don’t share the same mother tongue. As my grandma used to say, “One language, one person.” But what she really meant was that with every new language, you don’t just gain words—you gain new ideas, perspectives, and a whole new way of seeing the world.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Oh, where do I start? I guess you could say I’m a bit of a jack-of-all-trades with a love for learning and sharing knowledge!

- Languages & Communication – Fluent in Turkish, English, and French (with my Greek still under construction). I love language exchange and can definitely help with conversation practice, translation, or even teaching!

- People & Event Management – With experience organizing international conferences, youth events, and peacebuilding workshops, I’m great at bringing people together, managing logistics, and keeping things running smoothly. If you need a hand planning a gathering or setting up an event, I’m your person!

- House, Garden & Animal Care – Having grown up in Cyprus, I appreciate the outdoors and love staying active. Whether it's gardening, general house maintenance, or taking care of pets, I’m happy to help. (Bonus: I have a soft spot for animals, so furry friends are always welcome!)

- An Active & Hands-on Helper – I run regularly, cycle everywhere, and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. Need an extra set of hands for a DIY project, painting a room, or reorganizing a space? Count me in!

- A Quick Learner & Enthusiastic Volunteer – Whether it's picking up a new skill, helping with something I’ve never done before, or just lending a hand where needed, I love contributing and learning along the way.
