Description

My name's Alex, I'm from the UK. My first Workaway trip was in 2010 and since then I have been coming back to it every few years! I have always had an interest in alternative living, and particularly in a simpler, more sustainable life, closer to nature.
So far all of my Workaway experience has been within Europe and has included a range of work including farming, animal care and helping out in an eco village.
I'm happiest in nature, hiking in mountains and swimming in lakes. I also like music and films.
I'm a hard worker and am willing to try my hand at most things. I am competent at cooking and I prefer to make simple, healthy food. I am currently trying to learn Spanish and am able to help others with their English, so some kind of language exchange would be good.
