Hi, I’m Akane from Japan.
I’m currently travelling around New Zealand by car with my partner.

We are gentle, careful, and very comfortable around animals — especially dogs and cats. We enjoy spending quiet time with them and paying attention to small changes or needs.
We’re also happy to help with children in a calm, supportive way if required.

💼 Experience

I’ve worked in hospitality and customer service in both Japan and New Zealand, so I’m used to keeping spaces tidy and communicating clearly.
My partner has experience working on a dairy farm, so he’s familiar with farm routines and helping out where needed.

We’ve stayed in many different environments during our travels, so we adapt quickly, can be independent, and we are both very clean, organised, and respectful of shared spaces.

🌿 Personality

Calm, friendly, and thoughtful.
We enjoy nature, café time, and exploring new towns at a slow pace. We appreciate simple daily routines and peaceful environments.

🚗 Travel style

We’re travelling by car, which gives us flexibility with locations and schedules. We travel light, are well organised, and are happy to help a few hours a day as part of a cultural exchange.
