Description
Hello! We are Ágota (30), Csongi (38) and Misi (born in July 2023), from Hungary.
We spent the last 4 years on our homestead:
˙ renovated our 150 years old cob house, built a side-building with only natural and reclaimed materials
˙ raised animals for meat (rabbit, chicken, ducks, pig)
˙ foraged for wild plants and mushrooms
˙ preserved crops, baked sourdough goods
˙ built furnaces, rocket mass heaters and wood-fired stoves
˙ learned various handcrafts (felting, spinning yarn, tablet weaving, sewing and crochet)

Now we feel ready to hit the road again to share these skills and experiences with others, learn new things and explore.

Our time with Jenny, Yo and the other volunteers was super. We came for two weeks, then came back for more. :)
Mostly cooked food, baked bread, helped in renovation, decoration and organizing, cleaning spaces. Also in the garden when we could.

It was great to have Agota,Chongi and Misi at our place! They are real good company and you can see that they have lived and build their own place since they have lots of useful skills of working in the house, farm and to become more self sufficient. It was such a nice Time with this Family and we had a lot of fun! They pamper us with very delicious Food every day! And do a lot of good Jobs in the Garden.
Also when we stay easy for a few days they really take good care for the House, the pets and the garden!

I got the opportunity to stay with Ro, Jo and another volunteer for 4 days. They are warm-hearted and passionate people with the cutest animals, surrounded by a beautiful environment. We did some clay works together, it was so much fun. Having dinner at the campfire, under the Moon was an unforgettable experience.
