Hey there! We're Angel & Roger
We've spent the last couple of years traveling across the Pacific Northwest looking for the little things in life, good people, good food, and quiet moments. Working our way up from southern California we’ve had the opportunity to do everything from work on an earthbag home to turning horse stalls. All along the way we’ve made so many friends with both hosts and travelers, learning a little from everyone and a lot from a few. Today we find ourselves outside of Kansas City Missouri, pet sitting a dog, 4 cats and 16 chickens while working from home. Our plan for this next year is to explore the wild areas of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah.

What We're Looking For:
We’re looking to build lasting friendships through hard work and good food. Whether it’s battling blackberries or cooking a stir-fry for a birthday party, we love to help with any task. We would love to refine our skills in bread baking, carpentry, wood working, and animal husbandry. For our stay we would need space for our 19 foot trailer ( 21 feet with the hitch) and 30amp 12 volt power hook up. Overall we're low maintenance and travel with everything we need.

A little back ground:
Roger has a Bachelors in geography and an AA in Wildland fire fighting. He works remote and sets his own hours so he's always open to work on projects and help with tasks.
Angel works as a mortgage processor 5 days a week

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

-- Construction & Woodworking: We’re all about rolling up our sleeves and getting to work, whether it be cutting, building, fixing, we figure it out as we go. From carpentry and painting to patching up stucco and climbing up for some light roofing, we’ve done a bit of everything. If it involves tools, and problem solving we’re in.

--Gardening, Landscaping & Fire Mitigation: We’ve revived tired gardens and unruly yards, planted seeds, tamed rose bushes, and given sad potted plants a second chance at life. We’ve battled blackberry brambles, chopped firewood , and turned burn piles into satisfying bonfires. We’re not afraid to get dirty, sweaty, or covered in mystery plant scratches.

--Animal Care: We’ve wrangled everything from cats and chickens to stubborn horses. We’ve loaded horses into trailers, turned stalls, done a bit of light grooming. We’ve slipped medicine past suspicious cats and lent a hand in animal shelters.

--Cooking and baking: We’re culinary chaos in motion. From Thai yellow curry to pulled pork, stir fry to alfredo , we’re always cooking up something worth sharing with hosts, travelers, and anyone who wanders too close to the kitchen.
