Hello world, my name is Yannik and I come from Germany 😊

I am a passionate musician (especially guitar and singing), a mechatronics engineer, automotive engineer and guitar teacher by profession, and in my free time I am also committed to sustainability issues due to my environmental awareness and enthusiasm for nature.

In my everyday life, besides music, I enjoy all kinds of crafts, delicious (vegan) food, interesting conversations, various sports activities (e.g. cycling, climbing) and I also enjoy having time to myself.
Professionally, I am currently in a phase of change and am looking for a slower pace and new direction.

Through my interest in metal music in particular, I have developed an affinity for Finland and the Finnish language and would like to get to know the country and the language better (already one year of Duolingo experience 💪😀) and find time and space for reflection in Finnish nature.
I have travelled to Finland before, explored the Archipelago Trail by bike and tent, and then explored Turku and Helsinki, where I collected many wonderful memories 😊

I am new to the world of work and travel, but I am looking forward to exciting encounters and experiences 😊

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am primarily a musician and technician.

I have been playing guitar since I was eleven years old and singing since I was fifteen. I also play bass and a little drums. I have always been active in various musical projects and bands.

Thanks to my training as a mechatronics engineer and my studies in automotive engineering, I have a broad technical understanding (mechanics, electrics/electronics, computer science) and enjoy applying this knowledge to repairs and home improvement projects. I really enjoy manual work, including gardening 😊

Furthermore I am an open minded and patient person and enjoy passing on knowledge and discussing all kinds of topics with people.
