Description

Swiss born, in the French speaking area in the Alps (Wallis), with Austrian and Italian background, translator and language teacher by trade. I also worked as a tourist guide and a youth camp educator.
Experiences:
community life (1 in Switzerland, 1 in Israel, 1 in Sri Lanka, 3 in Spain, 3 in France, 2 in Belgium, 1 in Canada) love to travel, cooking, cats, biking, last countries lived in: Spain (Barcelona), the Netherlands (The Hague), Belgium (Durbuy, Antwerpen), Germany (Trier) and Switzerland (Montana). Here is my eclectic mix of likes: green settings, near forests and lakes or green neighborhoods in towns, city bikes, alternative communities, co-housing, decluttering, space clearing (also in gardens, orchards), pet sitting.. Interested in slow travelling, culture, art, anthropology, sociology, spirituality, prehistory and languages (modern and ancient) as well.as home schooling.

By trade I am a qualified translator, many years involved in tourism, I like to help people discovering new places. Sociability, cooperation, simplicity: Half of my life involved in various communities and non profit projects:
First one, in Switzerland, then in Israel: Kibbutz Metzer, Hadera district, Haifa.
One in Sri Lanka: Burmese guesthouse and monastery, Kandy.
Theee in Spain: Comunidad Arco Iris in Catalonia province and Aineto, Huesca province, and Campus of the University of Barcelona (U.A.B.) and many more for short stays: Tavertet, Mas Serinya, Lakabe.
Three in France: Farmstay Arjan (Auch), La Boirie Noble, Communauté de l'Arche (Gard), and macrobiotic community Saint Gaudens, South France.
Two in Belgium: De Withoef, near Antwerpen and ASBL Radhadesh (non-profit organization), Wallonia.
Netherlands, Den Haag, volunteering for 2 multicultural integration projects.

I enjoy travelling, especially by train and boat, biking (especially public city bikes) and walking around in nature and in small towns. Last countries lived in: Belgium, the Netherlands. Love green settings, near forest and lakes or green and ecological neighborhoods. My skills are related to tourism, guiding and informing, writing, and of course translating. I have a sound experience in cooking (vegetarian and vegan), baking and jams' production, I followed some training for groups' catering and herbalism. I have a nutritionist diploma.
As hobbies: crochet and knitting, wood polishing, wood painting and photography.
Enthusiastic about minimalism and space clearing.
