🌍 Hi there!

Welcome to our profile 👋

We’re Tristan (27) and Sara (33), a French–Peruvian couple about to start the trip of our lives!

After three years of routine, we decided it was time to go back to what we love most: traveling. Actually, going back makes sense because traveling has always been part of who we are.

We met in Cusco, Peru, while Tristan was backpacking across South America (Argentina, Chile, Peru & Colombia) through Workaway, and Sara was taking a few days off from city life in Lima.
After several trips between our countries and an amazing camper van adventure across Europe, we got married in 2022 and settled down in Amiens, Tristan’s hometown in northern France.

But our dream of discovering Asia never left us. And now it’s finally happening we’re starting our journey in just a few days, and we couldn’t be more excited!

✨ About us

Sara is a movie lover, an animal fan, and almost a polyglot she speaks Spanish, English, French, and a bit of German. She’s been working as a hotel receptionist for nearly three years and loves meeting people from all over the world. Calm, kind, and hardworking, she’s looking forward to discovering the world of volunteering, creating lifelong memories, and helping wherever she can.

Tristan loves cooking, music, nature, and sports. He’s spent more time volunteering than studying, which gave him experience in eco-building, gardening, and a real passion for permaculture. He’s the wild spirit of the couple (though he meditates every day 🧘‍♂️). During this trip, he wants to share with Sara why some of his best life moments happened through volunteering and to contribute as much as possible in every place we visit.

We both love Asian food honestly, we could almost say we’re traveling just for it 🍜🥢
