Hello all! .

I am an enthusiastic backpacker from the UK travelling NZ in search of new experiences and opportunities. Happiest when outdoors surrounded by nature, I love hiking, camping and exploring.

Motivated by my passion for the environment and conservation, I am particularly inspired by roles and projects that will give me hands on experience in organics, sustainability and conservation, but really, any work spent outside is fulfilling to me. I love the feeling of tiredness from having worked hard at the end of a long day - its incredibly satisfying!

Although not an expert, I love getting involved in DIY projects and refurbished the kitchen in my old van.

Outside of work, I practice yoga and meditation (I try to do this daily, though life does get in the way sometimes). I also enjoy creative projects involving art or writing.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Back in the UK, I was a Primary School Teacher and qualified Forest School Leader. My passion was helping the kids in my care foster a relationship with their natural surroundings. I would do this through teaching bushcraft skills, plant/foraging knowledge and a variety of woodland crafts and games.

I am a fast learner and am quickly gaining knowledge of the plant life here in Aotearoa, something I am keen to expand as my journey continues. I am physically fit and am not afraid of hard work, outdoors in all weathers.
