Hello Workaway! I am Antonia (known as Toni), a curious, world loving girl, always open for new experiences and people and ready to discover the world. I grew up in a small, but nice country in the middle of Europe, called Austria (Mozart, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franz and Sissi, Schnitzel, the alps,..). I went to a school of arts, so I love dancing, music, literature and drawing.
I LOVE good food, to look out of windows, crazy people, festivals, to climb on roofs, stories, couchsurfing, quiet songs, farms, travelling, to be moved to tears, smiles, crosswords, beautiful memories, vw buses, lakes, campfires, to play my guitar, children's point of view, lemon ice cream, train rides, rollercoasters, scary movies, adventures, dancing without being ashamed, fits of laughter, dumpster diving, singing and jamming, the first spring day, my photo albums, wasabi nuts, saunas, to receive a letter, bakeries, the first snow, breakfast on Sunday, to be barefoot, cinema popcorns, to have a lie-in, camping, tongue-twisters, hammocks, to learn new skills and languages, to not take everything too seriously in life, dreaming, being excited, being proud, being content, being happy...

My plan is to travel around a few countries in Africa or to Japan without a plan - I have 3 months for this.

Hello! Hi! Ciao! Bok! I love learning languages and have already tried in learning various languages, such as Swedish, Austrian sign language or Croatian. Especially when living in the country where the language is spoken, I am very keen on studying it. Also, I have been teaching German for the past years. Especially for young students, as I am a primary school teacher, but also for teenagers in summer camps. I know many different methods and games to teach in a playful, interactive way :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Everything that has an international touch, is my passion. I love to work with people from different countries. I have worked in the field of project management for Erasmus+ projects as well as organized events and trips in ESN (an European student organization). Furthermore, I did an internship at EuroVelo, where I helped maintaining the social media accounts and newsletter as well as planned conferences.

Also, I have lots of experience with children and teaching. I have a sister that is 11 years younger and I have been working as a primary school teacher for the past years. I mostly taught German as a second and foreign language to children and teenagers.

I love to get my hands dirty when gardening and farming. In 2020 I was lucky enough to help grow and harvest herbs on a farm in Italy as well as help with building greenhouses and flowerbeds, weeding, and other daily tasks. I have helped with cooking and cleaning too (although I am not the best chef to be honest). The following year I harvested grapes on a vineyard in France. Also I am very into saving food, I am a member of foodsharing and I used to go dumpster diving from time to time.

Actually, I have had work experience in many different fields of work, such as gastronomy, taking care of elderly people, teaching, cleaning, farming, working in summer camps,.. I really like to gain new experiences in nearly every area and I am always willing to learn new skills.
