Hullo,

I'm Tom in three words I would say that I am Honest, Curious and Helpful.

I grew up a city boy in Dublin but spent my weekends in the countryside mucking around at my grandparent's house. My other granny is German so I was lucky to speak German with my father while I was growing up.

After living in the city for 21 years my family sold our house and moved to live in Carlow so that my parents could live their country life dreams.

I have left them, having studied Industrial Design for 4 years I am now free; exploring and learning how to make my own way in the world.

I spend my days working on design projects ranging from practical to speculative and spend the rest of my time (weekends and nights) coaching and playing hockey.

With the summer now here (and hockey on pause) I am currently travelling Europe visiting both Erasmus friends and also those who have run away from Dublin.

As part of this trip, I would be excited to stay and work somewhere in France in order to make some new friends. For some reason, France is a gap in my map of European friends and I would like to rectify that and make new friends.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied Industrial design for 4 years. I always simplify that by saying I spent 4 years learning how to be a creative problem solver.

Alongside being a designer I've been a handyman all my life helping my parents, grandparents and others with making this and fixing that including helping them out with tech.

I've also helped out a bit with animals throughout my life. It's never been a regular thing but I am confident with animals including horses.

Lastly, I've coached both underage and women's hockey teams for a number of years.

Autres infos...

I'm a pretty open person. Not in a way that I share too much but in a way where I'm interested in other people. I'm not judgemental and I love understanding other people's points of view.

I also love to explore, play and learn new stuff.

Apart from everything else here are some stuff I love doing but don't necessarily get the time to practise:
