Hi, I’m Tim, a 24 years old French, I studied Cinema and Theatre in Paris, and I just got back from a 6 month travel in South America, where I learned spanish and a lot about life, others and myself. Doing that made me realise that I don't know much about my own continent and country, and so I'd like my next travels to be close from where I'm originally from.
I’m a really curious person, and what I love the most is to discover and understand how other people think and live, and how can I relate to that. The most important thing in life for me is the relationships between people, and what effect and changes would come out from those, on themselves, other people, and their environment.
I love to write, thoughts and stories mostly, and my biggest goal is to be a screenwriter and director in cinema. I’m a creative and imaginative person, but I also like to work with my hands, do physical work, which clears my mind and helps me rest from a sometimes overactive brain. Work away is for me the best way to know more mostly of that kind of works, and I will be glad to work on the outside on manual tasks.
It allows me as well to immerse myself directly into a culture, a language, a way of life that can be at the opposite of my own, and with that help me to expend my mind, and find the material for my work, would that be in the stories I'd write or the characters I'd play.
I like to think that my ability to adapt is my principal quality. I’m an always smiling person with a lot of humour (some say that if you have to say it, then it’s not true...)
I chose South America to concentrate on learning one language while being able to travel in several countries, but I’m really passionate about languages and letters in general, I'm now learning italian, which is the language of my ancestors, and I’d like to learn portuguese, german and the french sign language, for a start...
For all of that I think I can be useful, and I’m looking forward to show you that’s not just words.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I worked as a waiter and a bartender, so I’m really familiar with the rhythm, precision and attention necessary for those kind of works (and I’m also able to make great cocktails...)
I’m a very sociable person and easy talking person, have animated lot of camps, I’m good with children, and teaching in general. I could easily teach french and english, probably notions of spanish now and elementary sciences. (and any kind of transmission I could do, I’d be happy to do it).
I sometimes work at my godfather's waterski school in Switzerland and have my boat license.
I’m familiar with photography, writing, acting, and cinema in general.
In general, I’m a very maniable and dedicated person, and am willing to learn any kind of work.
I’m good with my hands and with manual and physical work, even if I don’t have particular experience in works like that.
During my travel, I experienced working in a hostel in Chile, and in a buddhist meditation center in Argentina, in which both I did gardening, building, woodchopping (my new passion), reception, and managing work.

I love music, play piano and wish to learn drums.
I enjoy all kinds of sports, and I’m a big fan of adrenaline, heights, water sports, and sliding sports (my all family evolves around ski and hair cutting, don't even ask...). I also played handball and boxing mostly.
I have many other interests and repressed passions, such as scuba diving, astronomy, planes, drawing...
